[NGHH2011 - GRIM vs Waus]

It's hard to choose... That is a close battle.

Here is my review...

Waus-Collectief: Very nice wordplay, great over all flow. Only thing that I didnt really like was the mic quality and how quiet you sounded. I really liked the way you used those punchlines of yours, but they could always have some more umph to it.

Grimcredible: Great mic quality, really good flow, and great enunciation. I did like your wordplay, its just you added some things that made you sound like a joke, i.e. "when the oozie shoots, n****".

I mean, when it comes down to ignoring the mic quality and focusing on the "skill" it is really hard. I am going to PM my decision to BigRed, because at the moment I am having a hard time deciding between the two.

His first verse was about him.. Only his last 2 lines were about me. No punches. It takes him 2 seperate recording takes to deliver his second 8bar verse and his flow wasnt even overwhelming. He continues to call me a nerd. What does that make him? A thug? A hood rat? Idk man.. It wasnt only his mic that made him not understanable but also his delivery. If i didnt put these lyrics up.. Would you have known what he said? Come on man. Seeiously. Im not tryna sway ur vote in anyway. But open ya ears.

Great battle.

I love Teps word play, especially the cain and abel line.

But overall I give this to Blue. His flow was just ill, very "freestyle" like.

I do love the chanting stuff Tep did, he is definitely different from every other rapper here on NG. If Tep practices and hardens up his flow he could really kill some shit in my opinion.

Glitch

I give this to Glitch, reason why is simple, I felt Needle was off beat in his first verse like wow.

His second wasnt that bad, but Glitch brought the murder along with him, his punchlines were way stronger, and I could understand him better.

Great job to both emcee's.

[Cynic Vs. Boss NGHH11]

Whyd Boss only get one verse?

My vote is to Gloine, but I was sure that Boss was suppose to go first.

Boss didnt do bad, I just feel like Gloine took it with his punchlines; Even though, in my opinion, ive heard Gloine do better and I am kinda disappointed that it took 4 days for this.

Then again, it could be due to issue's that I am not aware of.

Over all, great job to the both of you.
I hope to see you in round 2 Gloine.

Boss had 16 bars, both of mine had 8. He was supposed to go first but didn't and left 8 bars of silence before his verse, hence my two 8 bar verses.

Flex's second verse killed man...

That line hit Respect like a bag of bricks being dropped from a sky scraper.

I just feel like Flex's wordplay, metaphors, and punches were just over all better flowing and more "witty" then Respects

You guys both have great "professional" sounding flows, im digging it bro's.

If I had to choose a winner, I think I would be stuck saying nothing, this match was close in my opinion.

That was ill guys. Both of you did a great job.

Personally in my opinion, if I had to choose a winner, I would have to give it to Q-Sik.
You both had real good punch lines and insults, but I felt like Q-Sik's flow was more rugged. It really sounded like he was going to kill you or something, just so much anger in that "emotionless" raper.

But again, you both did a fantastic job. Was a great first impression for the rest of the comp, it seems like EVERYONE is bringing their heaviest shit this year.
